Job Summary
 
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Team Leader to oversee our frontline teams during events and daily operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise up to 10 ppl to include Tent Leads & Laborers or setup crews to ensure every event runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. You will act as the key point of contact on-site, motivate your team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will report to the Operations Manager.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise 10+  staff runners, setup/teardown crew) during events and shifts.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
  • Train new team members on service standards, safety protocols, and company procedures.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs.
  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage.
Event Execution & Operations
  • Oversee full event lifecycle: setup, guest interaction, and breakdown.
  • Coordinate logistics including equipment transport, venue setup, and timely execution.
  • Handle on-site client requests, special  needs, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain excellent communication with management, and clients.
 
Customer Service & Quality Control
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and represent the company professionally on-site.
 
Administrative Duties
  • Assist with inventory tracking, stock rotation, and waste minimization.
  • Complete event reports, labor tracking, and incident documentation.
  • Report equipment maintenance needs and supply requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
 
Minimum 2–3 years of experience i banquets, or high-volume food service ideal but any team leadership roles will be considered.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (for off-site events).
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
Work schedule will include weekends but will schedule days off in advance based on the schedule of events.
Pay range starts at $22-$25 hourly with room for growth.
