Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk for a local pre-sort/mail-processing facility in Stockton. This role supports daily billing, payment posting, and customer account management in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

?? Position Summary

The AR Clerk will handle invoice processing, payment posting, aging report management, and customer follow-up. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices based on daily operational activity

• Post payments (checks, ACH, credit card) and reconcile customer accounts

• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on past-due balances

• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices or discrepancies

• Research and resolve billing issues, rate discrepancies, and documentation gaps

• Maintain accurate electronic records and support internal audits

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy

• Assist with weekly and monthly AR reporting

?? Qualifications

• 1–2 years of AR, billing, or accounting support experience

• QuickBooks proficiency is required

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Experience in logistics, distribution, or mail-processing is a plus

• Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Pay rate: Based on experience
