$18/hour | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
On-call availability may be required

A nonprofit organization in Bloomington is seeking a reliable and experienced General Maintenance Technician to assist with property upkeep, maintenance, and basic repair work across multiple sites.

This role involves a variety of hands-on responsibilities including general maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, gutter cleaning, installing smoke alarms, moving furniture, and driving between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• General building and property maintenance
• Lawn care and landscaping
• Snow removal and seasonal upkeep
• Installing smoke alarms and completing minor repairs
• Cleaning gutters and assisting with exterior maintenance
• Moving furniture and supporting property needs
• Driving between locations and responding to maintenance needs

Requirements

• Prior maintenance, landscaping, or related experience required
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical outdoor work
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for work purposes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to multitask
• Must pass a background check
