CDL-A Truck Driver

Salary: $25.00 / hr - $30.00 / hr

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced driver who enjoys over-the-road (OTR) driving while maintaining a consistent schedule with home time on weekends. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating a semi tractor/trailer, following dispatch instruction, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and federal driving regulations. No loading or unloading is required for this role. 

Job Summary

• Drive a semi tractor/trailer in an over-the-road (OTR) environment
• Receive and follow dispatch orders in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare trip records and complete DOT logs daily
• Operate within all federal driving and safety guidelines
• Home on weekends unless willing to stay out longer
• No unloading or loading of freight required
• Sit and drive for up to 11 hours per day
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain safe and efficient delivery schedules
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the last 3 years
• Prior OTR driving experience preferred
• Experience operating semi tractor/trailers safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
• Clean driving record preferred

Skills and Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must have a valid existing DOT Physical
• Strong understanding of federal driving guidelines
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to maintain accurate trip records and DOT logs
• Professional communication and customer service skills
