Manufacturing Team Lead – Hands-On Role
Location: Meredosia, IL
Pay: $45,000 – $55,000/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are looking for a hands-on, dependable Manufacturing Team Lead who is ready to lead a team while staying actively involved in day-to-day production. 

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, taking ownership of operations, and keeping production, quality, and safety on track.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of up to 10 employees
• Remain hands-on in production operations, including blending and other production processes
• Assist with quality audits, testing, certification, and documentation management
• Track production trials and prepare reports
• Maintain detailed records and follow through on action items
• Promote a safe, accountable, and productive work environment
• Provide strong team leadership and customer service
• Work with pneumatic railroad loading equipment as needed
• Participate in meetings and complete computer-based responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous production, manufacturing, or operations leadership experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold a team accountable
• Comfortable being a hands-on supervisor
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that is not fully climate controlled

Day Shift AND Night Shift (2 positions)

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced production professional who isn't looking to sit behind a desk all day. Approximately 80% of the position is hands-on, with the remaining time spent on computer work and meetings. You'll be expected to jump in, lead by example, and help keep the operation moving efficiently.
