Assembler I

We are currently seeking an experienced Assembler I for a manufacturing company in Sarasota. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical assembly experience who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: $20–$22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Summary:
The Assembler I is responsible for performing electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations to build moderately complex units and sub-assemblies. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, wiring, and soldering while following production instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret production instructions, assembly drawings, part lists, and verbal directions
Select and organize components for sub-assemblies and final assemblies
Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, and soldering of components and finished products
Use standard assembly tools including pliers, wire strippers, cutters, and other hand tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow inventory control, quality assurance, and safety procedures
Complete tasks in compliance with company policies and industry standards
Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
3–5 years of mechanical assembly experience required
Experience with soldering and electro-mechanical assembly preferred
Technical or vocational training is a plus
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
