Shipping / Warehouse Associate

· Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.

· Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

· Uses RF Guns/scanners to track inventory, pick orders, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.

· Assists with special projects upon request such as cutting copper pipe, installing racking systems, and preparing trailers.

· Maintains appearance of the Shipping and Yard areas and assigned aisle(s); ensures area is kept clean, organized, and remains a safe work environment.

· Confers with other departments to ensure coordination of shipping activities with receiving, sales, purchasing, inventory, and human resources.

· Assists in inventory counts, cycle counts, and replenishment of products.

· Records number of materials or items received or distributed using inventory and warehouse management systems.

· Maintains a working knowledge of and adheres to company policies and procedures.

· Follows all safety rules, policies, and procedures always.

· Reports to work regularly and on time.

· Assists other employees as required to support completion of work activities.

· Maintains confidentiality of sensitive organizational and personnel information.

· Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.

Qualifications & Skills

· Experience using RF Guns/handheld scanners in warehouse and inventory operations.

· Knowledge of basic computer systems.

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety standards.

· Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

· Operate Standup Order Pickers, Joey’s, Reach Trucks, Sit Down Propane Forklifts, Shrink Wrap Machine

· Communication exhibits good listening and comprehension
