We are seeking a dependable, mechanically minded Pool Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in St. Clair County, IL. This is a full‑time position for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working outdoors, and delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Pay: $25/hr
Location: St. Clair County, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation components

• Perform pool openings and closings for residential and commercial customers

• Remove and install pool liners (training provided)

• Conduct leak detection and perform minor plumbing repairs

• Troubleshoot basic electrical components related to pool systems

• Complete sand changes and routine system maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about service work

• Document all jobs accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to manage daily tasks independently

• Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting skills

• Professional communication and customer‑service mindset

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and perform physical tasks

Preferred Experience (Not Required – We Will Train the Right Person)

• Pool service or maintenance

• Plumbing experience

• Basic electrical knowledge
