Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a skilled TIG Welder for a fabrication and manufacturing environment. This is a full-time 2nd Shift opportunity working primarily with stainless steel and aluminum materials.

We are seeking experienced welders who can read blueprints, perform precision welds, and work independently within a fast-paced fabrication setting.

This is a skilled welding position; prior TIG welding experience is required.

Responsibilities

As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:

Performing TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.
Completing fillet welds and butt welds according to blueprint specifications.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
Setting up welding machines and adjusting settings based on material type and thickness.
Inspecting welds to ensure quality, penetration, and structural integrity.
Using measuring tools and fabrication equipment to maintain tolerances.
Maintaining a clean and organized welding station.
Following all safety procedures and welding standards.
Assisting with additional fabrication duties as needed.

Requirements

Prior TIG welding experience REQUIRED.
Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum REQUIRED.
Ability to perform fillet and butt welds.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Experience setting up and adjusting welding equipment.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and within a fabrication team.

Entry-level welders may be considered for this role.

Skills & Qualifications

TIG welding and fabrication experience.
Stainless steel and aluminum welding.
Blueprint and weld symbol interpretation.
Machine setup and adjustment.
Quality inspection and measurement skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Shifts & Hours

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday
2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Full-Time
Overtime may be available based on production needs

Pay & Benefits

$21.00 per hour
+$1.00 Shift Differential
