General Laborer/ Spot Welder

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client. Our client is looking for a General Laborer/ Spot welder. This would entail being able to move to various departments within the warehouse.
Secondary Duties:
- Spotwelding
- Duties will include set-up and operation of spotwelding machines. (We will train in house)
- Spotwelding cabinets and sheet metal frames, utilizing fixtures to locate subcomponents.
- DA / Grinding and sanding spotwelds for a uniform finish.
- DA / Sanding / Grinding of welds
- Pem Nut Fastener (Install hardware using our pem pressing machines) (Alos we will provide in house training).
- Fill out appropriate part number tags with quantities and scan bar codes using our Shop Floor Time Entry software.
- We will provide all in house training for SFTE
- Starting pay will be $17.00 per hour.
- Health Insurance offered after 90 days as a Phoenix Employee.
- 401K offered after 1 year (company match of 50% of the employee’s contribution, up to 4% of yearly gross wage)
- Quarterly Bonus (discretionary, based on the performance of the individual, and the financial performance of the company)
Job Requirements for all positions:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Follow work instructions as listed on drawings and bill of materials.
- Experience using measuring equipment (calipers, etc.)
Hours will be 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and pay starts off at $17.00 hr.
