Press Brake Operator

Location: Spartanburg, SC.
Pay: $24/hr.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming Amada press brakes, interpreting blueprints, and working with complex metal forming operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and operate Amada Press Brake machinery
• Perform complex bend setups and metal forming operations
• Use custom punch and die modifications with additional tooling
• Program press brake functions including angle bends, step bends, delays, and back gauge transfers
• Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and flat pattern layouts
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Train and assist junior operators as needed
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness within work areas
• Coordinate with material handlers to ensure materials are available according to production schedules
• Support workflow organization and assist with other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Press Brake setup and programming experience preferred
• Experience operating Amada Press Brake equipment
• Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
• Understanding of geometric tolerances and sheet metal fabrication
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
