Housekeeper

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Housekeeper to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas

• Empty trash and replace liners

• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and procedures

• Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment

• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with staff, students, and visitors

• Work independently while following instructions and established standards

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of janitorial and cleaning procedures

• Ability to safely operate cleaning supplies and equipment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and dependable attendance

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift

• Must be able to lift up to 40–50 pounds

• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely and efficiently
