Location: Remote site approximately 1 hour northeast of Casper, WY (7 miles east of Lynch, WY)
Project Duration: Approximately 8 weeks Starting Mid-June 2025
Pay: $25–$30/hour + $60/day per diem

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking temporary laborers to support a pond dewatering and relining project. This role involves physical labor in an outdoor, remote environment, assisting with equipment setup, sludge and gravel transfer, liner installation, and final site teardown.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation and dirt work
  • Transport and position materials, including pond liners
  • Set up and organize equipment such as 1–5 HP pumps, generators, fuel storage systems, and 2” layflat hoses across the project site
  • Support ongoing pumping operations by transferring water, sludge, and gravel to dewatering bags while monitoring equipment, adjusting hoses and water flow, and resolving clogs or field issues
  • Assist with installation of cloth and HDPE liners, including material placement and support during heat-seaming
  • At project completion, help dismantle and remove equipment, clean and organize materials, and restore the site
  • Support ongoing pumping operations by transferring water, sludge, and gravel to dewatering bags while monitoring equipment, adjusting hoses and water flow, and resolving clogs or field issues. Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor in outdoor conditions
  • Comfortable working in a remote job site environment
  • Must have reliable transportation (drive is approximately 1 hour from Casper)
  • Clean background check required
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
  • Previous construction, labor, or environmental project experience preferred but not required

Work Conditions

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Exposure to wet, muddy, and uneven terrain
  • Minimum of 8–10 hours of work per day, with an additional 2 hours of travel time not included in paid work hours.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay: $25–$30/hour
