Shop Laborer 

 Broussard, LA| Full-Time | $15–$17/hr.

 

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Laborer to assist with daily shop operations. This role supports multiple departments with general labor tasks, material handling, shop cleanup, and production support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

 

Duties:

• Assist shop personnel with general labor and production tasks

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop areas and workstations

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for jobs

• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely

• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory activities as needed

• Follow instructions from supervisors and department leads

• Assist with painting, grinding, cleaning, and other shop duties

 

Requirements:

• Previous labor, warehouse, or shop experience required

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

 

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

 

Pay:

• $15–$17/hr. DOE
