Machine Shop Hand

 Scott, LA | $12.00–$15.00/hr. DOE | Full-Time

 

We are currently seeking a dependable Machine Shop Hand to assist with daily shop operations in Scott, LA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist machinists with setup and cleanup

• Move and organize materials, equipment, and tools

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Perform basic maintenance and general shop tasks as needed

• Use company truck when needed to pick up and deliver materials

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Must have reliable transportation

• Valid Driver’s License required

• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred

• Forklift experience preferred but not required
