Shipping & Inventory Coordinator

Broussard, LA | Full-Time | $15–$20/hr.

We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Inventory Coordinator to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is essential in ensuring orders are shipped accurately, inventory is properly maintained, and materials are organized and accounted for in a fast-paced shop environment.

Duties:

• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and on schedule

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for accuracy or damage

• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas

• Track and update inventory levels in company systems

• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and office staff on materials and shipments

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts or other equipment as needed

• Label, stage, and organize materials for jobs and customer orders

• Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits

• Ensure shipping paperwork, packing slips, and documentation are completed correctly

 

Requirements:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience required

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Basic computer skills; inventory system experience preferred

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse/shop environment

• Strong attention to detail and accountability

 

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

 

Pay:

• $15–$20/hr. DOE
