Salary: $28-$35/hr DOE

We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance & Janitorial Technician to support daily facility operations through routine cleaning, light repairs, and general site upkeep. This role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for all employees and ensures the manufacturing site remains clean, safe, and audit-ready.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform janitorial duties including cleaning restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and production areas; maintain floors; and manage trash and recycling removal
• Complete general facility maintenance and repair tasks
• Conduct light electrical troubleshooting and replace fixtures as needed
• Perform basic carpentry work, including door and lock installation
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs
• Run and terminate CAT-5 cabling as required
• Support general preventative maintenance and facility upkeep
• Prepare for audits by maintaining an organized maintenance shop and performing 5S activities to ensure compliance readiness
• Oversee vendor activities by escorting and supervising contractors (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Assist with boiler troubleshooting and minor maintenance/repairs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of facilities or general maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
• Experience with wiring, conduit, and cable pathways, including installation and troubleshooting processes
• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment common to facilities maintenance, following all safety procedures

The schedule is Mon-Fri-8AM-5PM (some days 7AM-4PM) must be flexible and able to work

OT some days! This is a 3 month temporary need, may be longer depending on business need!

 

The pay rate is $28-$35/hr
