Catering Server

Located in Durham, NC

Salary: $18/hr.

Catering Server 

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, tables, chairs, linens, buffet stations, and service areas
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Refill and maintain buffet bars throughout events
• Monitor food presentation and cleanliness of service areas
• Assist with clearing tables and guest needs during events
• Break down and clean event spaces after service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous serving, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Food handler certification is a plus
