Warehouse & Logistics Driver

 

We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Driver for a great opportunity with our client in the Buffalo Grove area! This role offers a mix of warehouse operations and occasional delivery driving, along with competitive pay and long-term potential!

General Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks and organize materials within the warehouse
  • Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment and delivery
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
  • Maintain inventory by verifying and organizing incoming shipments
  • Stock materials in designated warehouse locations
  • Assist customers with loading materials into vehicles
  • Perform data entry and order tracking using internal systems
  • Occasionally deliver materials to customers and ensure timely transport
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Perform additional duties as needed

 

Ideal Background:

  • 1+ year of warehouse or related experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CDL- Class C license and a medical card pursuant to Tier Driver Status
  • Forklift experience
  • Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

 

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels
  • Work performed both indoors and occasionally outdoors
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required
  • Steel-toe shoes required
  • Work around equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trucks
