Warehouse Manager

Located in Durham, NC

Salary: $31-$35/hr.

Warehouse Manager 

Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and shipping materials.
• Supervise and lead a team of 3 delivery drivers and 3 warehouse associates.
• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of plumbing materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory management systems.
• Order and replenish stock as needed while minimizing shortages and overstock.
• Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are organized and properly stored.
• Monitor warehouse safety procedures and maintain OSHA compliance standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel and drivers.
• Collaborate with purchasing, service, and installation departments to support operational needs.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Track vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure company vehicles are properly maintained.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse management experience required, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, construction, or related trades.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
