We are currently seeking an Engineering Student/Intern for a local manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone currently enrolled in a four-year engineering program who is looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year engineering program
• Must be approximately 1–2 years from graduation
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as with a team

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Microsoft Office
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• PLC/HMI Programming Software (Siemens, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, etc.)
• Software Development (C++, Visual Studio, Basic, etc.)
• Reading electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints
• Hands-on engine or machining experience
• Project management experience

Job Duties

• Assist with design and troubleshooting of electrical control systems and PLC/CNC systems
• Help maintain machine software, backups, and preventative maintenance routines
• Support process improvements and cost reduction projects
• Assist with updating maintenance documentation and procedures
• Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair training
• Other duties as assigned
