The Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep of residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
- Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls when scheduled.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and residential policies.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and tools.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and instruction manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
- VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience being a Maintenance Technician in residential buildings.
- HVAC Experience.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, typically Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call shifts or emergency response duties as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Daily interaction with residents.
