The Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep of residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Complete work orders for repairs and maintenance in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls when scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and residential policies.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and tools.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and departments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or a related trade.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and instruction manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
• VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION.
• No background.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience being a Maintenance Technician in residential buildings.
• HVAC Experience.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position, typically Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call shifts or emergency response duties as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Daily interaction with residents.
