Swing Shift - Monday through Friday – 2pm to 10:30am
$20hr to $22hr depending on experience.
A recognized leader in the seismic protection industry since 1966, specializing in the design and manufacturing of spring isolators, seismic rails, structural steel frames, equipment bases, vibration pads, hangers, and other engineered custom solutions is seeking a Robotic Welders Operator to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: The Robotic Welder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding systems to produce high-quality fabricated metal components according to engineering specifications and production requirements. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate robotic welding equipment and associated production machinery.
- Load, position, and secure materials and components into fixtures for welding operations.
- Monitor robotic welding processes to ensure proper weld quality, consistency, and production efficiency.
- Inspect completed welds and finished products for quality, dimensions, and compliance with specifications.
- Make minor adjustments to robotic programs, tooling, or machine settings as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotic welding systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Maintain production records and report equipment issues or quality concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating robotic welding systems in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Experience with MIG welding processes and fabrication equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical documentation.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
