Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manual Machinist for a growing shop environment specializing in stainless steel fabrication and machining. This position primarily involves short production runs ranging from 10–20 pieces and requires experience operating manual machines with digital readouts while consistently holding tight tolerances.

Pay

• $15–$20/hr based on experience and qualifications
• Higher pay may be considered for highly qualified candidates

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manual machining equipment with digital readout systems
• Machine and fabricate stainless steel parts to specification
• Hold tight tolerances and ensure precision quality standards are met
• Read and follow blueprints, measurements, and work instructions
• Perform setups, adjustments, and quality checks on finished parts
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work efficiently on low-volume, precision production runs

Qualifications

• Previous manual machining experience required
• Ability to consistently hold tight tolerances
• Experience working with stainless steel is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
