This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Manage payroll processing (ADP) and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Conduct account analysis and prepare financial reports for management review.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage or other financial software to streamline processes.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
• Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights based on financial data.
• Prepare monthly financial statements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits & credits, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with various accounting software systems such as Sage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and financial forecasting is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
