Maintenance Sales Person (Estimator)
Location: Monterey County, CA
Pay Rate: $25–$35/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (hours may vary based on workload)

Position Type: Temporary/Ongoing Assignment

 

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Sales Person (Estimator) for a full-time opportunity with a local company in Monterey County. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in maintenance, estimating, and customer service who is comfortable managing client relationships, preparing bids, and coordinating project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to assess maintenance and repair needs
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for maintenance projects
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Coordinate with field crews and management regarding project scope and scheduling
• Conduct site visits and gather measurements/information needed for estimates
• Follow up on bids, proposals, and customer inquiries
• Maintain organized records of estimates, jobs, and communications
• Assist with identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing accounts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, maintenance sales, or a related field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read plans, measurements, and project specifications preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects
• Proficient with computers, email, and estimating software/programs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
