Schedule: Mon-Fri - 8:30am to 5:00pm 

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Temporary/Contract Role - with potential for long-term assignment

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver with a valid G licence to join our Scarborough location. The role involves operating a Ford Sprinter cargo van to deliver appliance parts efficiently and safely to customers and business locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Ford Sprinter delivery van in compliance with Ontario driving laws and company policies
• Deliver appliance parts and products to residential and commercial customers in a timely manner
• Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage during transport
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, and route documentation
• Plan efficient delivery routes and meet daily delivery schedules
• Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries
• Ensure proper handling and organization of parts inside the vehicle
• Assist in basic warehouse tasks (picking, packing, organizing inventory) when required

Requirements

• Valid Ontario G driver’s licence (full licence) with a clean driving record
• Copy of driver’s abstract (issued within the last 30 days) for approval prior to their start
• Minimum 1 year of delivery or driving experience (preferred)
• Safe driving record and strong knowledge of GTA roads and routes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving cargo vans (Ford Sprinter or similar)
• Experience in delivery, logistics, or parts distribution
• Familiarity with electronic delivery logs or handheld devices

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with daytime shifts
• A physically active role involving lifting, bending, and loading/unloading
