Equipment Operator

Located in San Saba, TX

Salary: $20–$25/hr DOE

Schedule:
 1st Shift: Monday–Friday(weekends as needed) | 7:00AM–5:00PM( 8-12hour days)

Pay Rate:

$20–$25/hr DOE

Overtime available on weekends as needed!

 

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Equipment Operator to join our team at a Rock Quarry in San Saba County. This position is responsible for safely operating haul trucks, transporting materials, performing daily equipment inspections, and assisting with general labor duties as needed. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors, following strict safety procedures, and working overtime when required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections
• Safely operate haul trucks and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain vehicle logs and monitor equipment during operation
• Load/unload materials as needed
• Keep equipment clean and report maintenance issues
• Follow supervisor instructions and jobsite expectations
• Assist team members and help maintain a safe work environment
• Perform general labor duties when required

 

Work Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and Fit for Work physical
• Must provide valid I-9 documentation
• Maintain a professional attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and travel when required
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Must follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Strong teamwork and reliability required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 18 years old

 

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, stretching, and sitting/driving
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and operate equipment safely
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Must be able to climb in and out of truck equipment multiple times per day
• Must have good vision abilities including close, distance, depth perception, and focus
