Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

A growing metal manufacturing company is hiring an experienced Material Handler / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support production operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with strong forklift experience, shipping/receiving knowledge, and attention to inventory accuracy.

Pay & Schedule

• $16.00 per hour
• Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Consistent full-time hours with overtime potential

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts (propane or electric) to load, unload, transport, and stack materials
• Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished goods
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including unloading incoming product and preparing outbound shipments
• Scan inventory and update materials within the ERP system
• Print and apply labels accurately to product containers
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure organization of warehouse areas
• Move materials between dock, production, and shipping departments
• Operate overhead cranes as needed

Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience REQUIRED
• Experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory control
• Familiarity with ERP systems and barcode scanning preferred
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and follow workplace safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and prolonged standing
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs continuously during a 10-hour shift
• Requires good vision, hearing, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
