Location: Colfax, WI
Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 7:00am–4:00pm
Friday | 7:00am–12:00pm (Enjoy half days on Fridays!)

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Forwarder Operator to join a hardworking logging team! In this role, you will operate a John Deere 1110D Forwarder in an active timber harvesting environment, moving logs from harvest areas to designated landing and deck locations safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a John Deere 1110D Forwarder in a forestry/logging environment

• Pick and load logs using machine controls and grapples

• Transport logs from harvest areas to designated deck/landing locations

• Unload and stack logs neatly and efficiently

• Complete repetitive hauling and loading cycles throughout the workday

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or mechanical concerns

• Follow all company safety procedures and logging operation guidelines

• Maintain awareness of surroundings and changing terrain conditions

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating logging equipment or heavy machinery preferred

• Experience operating a forwarder or similar forestry equipment is a plus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to safety and equipment care

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions

• Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting ability is beneficial

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required

• Forwarder includes an air-controlled cab for operator comfort
