Pay:
$65,000 - $85,000 base salary + commission potential
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, warehouse flow, logistics, project coordination, and team performance within a growing flooring operation. The ideal candidate will have strong operational leadership experience, flooring industry knowledge, and the ability to improve efficiency while supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily flooring operations and drive accountability across the team
• Manage scheduling, logistics, inventory control, and order flow
• Coordinate projects from order placement through installation completion
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to job sites and customers
• Supervise warehouse operations, material organization, and inventory management
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and profitability
• Monitor operational and financial performance, including margins and cost controls
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve challenges in real time
• Train, coach, and support team members
• Collaborate with sales teams, meet with clients, and assist with jobsite visits when needed
• Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, and customers
• Maintain clear communication between operations, sales, and clients
• Occasional travel to support operations in Tampa may be required
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of flooring industry experience or related construction operations experience
• Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation processes, and project coordination
• Experience managing operations, logistics, inventory, and workflow processes
• Ability to estimate projects, complete material takeoffs, and manage job costing
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience improving operational performance
• Experience supporting sales efforts and interacting directly with clients
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Bilingual English/Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
