General Laborer – Residential Contractor 
Port Orchard, WA 

 

Pay: $20/hour 

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 

 

Overview 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable General Laborer to assist a residential contractor in Port Orchard, WA. This position focuses on painting and drywall work for residential projects. Ideal candidates will be hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment. 

 

Job Duties 

• Assist with interior and exterior painting projects 

• Prepare surfaces (sanding, scraping, masking, priming) 

• Perform drywall tasks including patching, installation, and finishing 

• Operate basic hand and power tools 

• Maintain clean and organized job sites 

• Follow safety procedures and site guidelines 

• Support team members on various residential construction tasks 

Requirements 

• Previous painting and/or drywall experience required 

• Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) 

• Basic knowledge of construction tools 

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance 

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently 

• Preferred: Experience using a paint sprayer 

• Plus: Ownership of a personal paint sprayer
