CDL Driver – Local Routes, Home Daily

Locations: Marshall, Mattoon, & Tolono, IL
Pay: Starting at $20+/hr Depending on Experience
Shift: 1st Shift | Typically 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime: Available
Start Date: ASAP

 

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring CDL Drivers for a busy and growing concrete company serving multiple Central Illinois locations! If you enjoy being on the road, working with your hands, and being part of a hardworking team, this could be the opportunity for you. Training is available for the right candidate, making this a great opportunity for newer CDL drivers looking to grow their career!

What You’ll Do:

• Operate mixer trucks for local concrete deliveries
• Run, assemble, clean, and wash down chutes
• Assist with pouring concrete at job sites
• May operate heavy equipment as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Communicate with dispatch and job site teams throughout the day

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid CDL Class A or B License
• Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmissions
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable and ready to work as part of a team

Experience Preferred:

• Open to entry-level CDL drivers — training available!
• 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred
• Farm or heavy equipment experience is a huge plus
