Job Title: Shipping Clerk / Yard HandDepartment: ShippingLocation: Ridgeway, SC areaPay Rate: $19.00 per hour---Schedule:* Monday - Friday* 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM (1 opening)* 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (1 opening)* Candidates should report at 9:00 AM on their first daySupervisor:* Ontonio GrantJob Overview:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Clerk to support shipping and yard operations. This role involves a combination of clerical duties and hands-on yard work, including loading and moving heavy equipment during the manufacturing and shipping process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an outdoor, industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:* Coordinate and support daily shipping and receiving operations* Perform yard hand duties including loading and unloading heavy equipment* Assist with preparing equipment for shipment* Operate equipment as needed to move materials safely within the yard* Verify shipping documents, inventory, and outgoing loads for accuracy* Maintain organization of the yard and shipping areas* Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and driversRequirements:* Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or yard operations preferred* Ability to safely handle and move heavy equipment* Basic computer and documentation skills* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment* Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks* Forklift or heavy equipment experience is a plusWork Environment:* Outdoor yard and industrial manufacturing setting* Exposure to heavy machinery and varying weather conditions* Physically demanding role with frequent standing, walking, and liftingDress Code:* Steel toe boots required* Industrial work attire required* PPE provided as neededHiring Process:Direct send candidates acceptedApply Today!
