Maintenance Technician

Location: Northshore, IL
Pay: $28/hr – $35/hr DOE
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available

A growing company in the Northshore area is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing and production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Repair production equipment to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial maintenance or maintenance technician experience required
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift
