Pay Rate: $15 - $20

Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Very rare weekend work
No regular overtime

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Helper to assist with a variety of industrial maintenance and shop support duties. This position involves hydro testing, sandblasting, spray painting, forklift operation, general maintenance, and assisting with mechanical and electrical tasks. Candidates must be comfortable working in industrial conditions, including hot summers, cold winters, and elevated work areas up to 20 feet high.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist with hydro testing and pressurizing machines.
-Install and replace gaskets as needed.
-Operate forklifts safely throughout the facility.
-Perform sandblasting using crushed glass materials.
-Assist with spray painting and general painting duties.
-Support electrical and mechanical maintenance projects.
-Perform general maintenance and shop cleanup duties.
-Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE equipment.
-Work safely at heights up to 20 feet when required.

Requirements:

-Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn.
-Previous industrial, maintenance, forklift, or shop experience preferred.
-SD forklift experience is a plus.
-Must be respirator qualified or able to become qualified.
-Comfortable working in hot summer and cold winter conditions.
-Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and machinery.
-Must be dependable and safety-conscious.
-Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
