We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our Automotive manufacturing team. This role involves preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, familiarity with hand and power tools, and experience working in warehouse or production environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to efficient production operations in a fast-paced setting.

Monday-Friday

Day shift: 7:00am - 3:15pm

Night Shift: 11pm - 7:15am

Duties

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Use schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to properly package items
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble packaging components
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for proper packaging procedures
• Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality control
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization as needed
• Follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality goals

Skills

• Experience with warehouse operations or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machining processes
• Knowledge of welding, mechanical systems, or assembly techniques (nice-to-have)
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes
• Experience with schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings
• Proficiency in using calipers and other precision measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of packaging experience in Automotive industry
• Must have a valid reference from a previous employer
