Forklift Driver (Material Handler)

Located in Hilton Head Island, SC

Salary: $18.00/hr.

We are currently looking for a qualified Forklift Driver (Material Handler) for a company located in HHI, SC. 

Pay: $18.00/hr.

Schedule: M-F 6:30am-3:30pm

Job Responsibilities: 

Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order
• Transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
• Loading and unloading goods
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays
• Follow inventory control instructions
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous forklift and material handling experience preferred
• Experience loading, unloading, and moving materials safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse systems a plus
