1st Shift Shipping and Receiving

Client Company in Hopkins has immediate need for Temp-to-Hire Shipping and Receiving Candidate:

 

The Material Handler is expected to move the plant’s raw material and finished goods from receipt through shipment. The material handler plays a key role in maintaining the housekeeping of the plant and is primarily responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse.

Primary Position Objectives:

Performs all shipping functions. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Staging and/or setting up loads as required
• Loading trucks accurately to Bill of Lading
• Identifying damaged goods and preventing shipment
• Correctly completing required shipping documentation

Performs all receiving functions. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Unloading received materials
• Verification of received materials (correct item and quantity)
• Correctly completing required receiving documentation
• Labeling received material with BMS RM number
• Moving received material to appropriate location

 

Requirements:

• Manufacturing and warehouse experience preferred.
• Capable of reading, writing and performing basic math.
• Sit-down forklift experience
