Hands-On Engineering Role Supporting Critical Manufacturing Operations

We are seeking a skilled Facilities & Utilities Engineer to support and optimize facility infrastructure within a manufacturing environment in Payson, Utah. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining reliable utility systems, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting ongoing facility improvements in a fast-paced production setting.

The ideal candidate is practical, mechanically minded, and experienced with industrial utility systems and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain critical facility systems including:
  • HVAC and environmental systems
  • Boilers and steam systems
  • Compressed air systems
  • Water treatment and purified water systems
  • Building mechanical infrastructure
  • Process support utilities
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and utility interruptions
• Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades
• Monitor system reliability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations
• Assist with facility improvement and capital projects
• Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on installations and repairs
• Support safety, compliance, and operational standards

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of facilities engineering or industrial utilities experience
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with industrial utility systems such as HVAC, boilers, compressed air, or water treatment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing, food production, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or industrial environments
• Preventive maintenance or CMMS systems
• Facility compliance and safety standards
• Working with contractors and vendors
• Automation, controls, or building monitoring systems
