Salary: $18/hr - $20/hr

Job Summary:

Responsible for inspecting and electrically testing solar modules at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality, safety, and customer standards.

We offer full-time, part-time, and temporary positions at no cost to candidates. Placement cannot be guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and electrical inspections of solar modules
  • Operate EL (electroluminescence), sun simulator (flash tester), and HiPot equipment
  • Conduct final inspections and document defects prior to release
  • Inspect for frame, glass, backsheet, junction box, labeling, and sealant issues
  • Verify barcoding and labeling accuracy
  • Capture and review EL images during production and final stages
  • Identify and classify defects (cracks, inactive areas, black spots, shunts)
  • Ensure calibration and compliance with specifications

Requirements & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of quality control experience in manufacturing (solar, electronics, or similar preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with inspection tools and quality documentation is a plus
