Shipping & Receiving / Bar Processing Associate

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving / Bar Processing Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, processing metal bars, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials
• Prepare and package outgoing orders for shipment
• Process metal bars according to work orders and specifications
• Operate forklifts, cranes, saws, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Label, organize, and store inventory accurately
• Load and unload trucks in a timely manner
• Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting
• Ensure materials meet quality and safety standards
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous shipping & receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Manufacturing or metal processing experience is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
