Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Tech Assistant to support our pest control team. This role involves physical, hands-on work in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoor areas, often under challenging conditions. Candidates must be comfortable working in tight spaces, around pests, and in all types of weather, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead technician with pest control inspections, treatments, and exclusion work.

• Work in crawl spaces, attics, basements, and around the perimeter of buildings.

• Navigate confined areas and uneven terrain.

• Help with sealing and exclusion: apply foam, mesh, caulking, or other pest-proofing materials.

• Remove debris or contaminated insulation as needed.

• Carry, load, and organize tools and materials.

• Operate safely in all weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.).

• Follow all safety guidelines, including use of PPE and ladders.

• Document work and communicate clearly with the lead tech and customers as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Able to work in hot, cold, wet, and confined environments.

• Comfortable around pests and wildlife (mice, rats, insects, etc.).

• Physically fit: able to crawl, bend, lift 50+ lbs, and work on knees or back.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring tools.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (preferred).

• Willingness to learn pest control methods and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pest control, construction, HVAC, or insulation.

• Knowledge of pest exclusion or attic/crawl space work.

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience.
