Accounting Assistant

Salary: $65,000/year

Specialized Recruiting Group, Irvine is seeking an on-site Accounting Assistant for a leading event services company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire opportunity. Bae compensation starts at $65,000/year and includes comprehensive benefits.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support AR/AP, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
• Assist with billing, job costing, and project tracking
• Prepare month-end items (reconciliations, journal entries, reports)
• Assist with payroll processing and review
• Support HR administration and maintain employee records

 

Requirements:

• At least two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• QuickBooks experience (Desktop preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• Relevant degree or equivalent accounting experience preferred
