Purchasing Specialist

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Specialist to join a construction company in west Omaha.  

Position Details: 
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: $22-$25/hour

Job Duties: 
•     Source and procure materials, supplies, and services in accordance with company policies
•    Review purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders
•    Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability
•    Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors
•    Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues or discrepancies
•    Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
•     Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 
•     25lb lifting requirement
•     Must have your own vehicle to commute to the job site
•     Ability to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnel
