Outdoor Patio Kitchen & Fireplace Installer

Location: Fort Myers
Position Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Range: $19.00–$20.00/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional overtime as needed)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined, and hardworking individuals to join a growing outdoor patio kitchen and fireplace company as an Installer Helper. This position focuses on hands-on construction and installation work in a fast-paced team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience assisting on construction or installation projects and be comfortable using hand and power tools. Candidates must be able to work outdoors, climb ladders up to 32 feet, lift materials, and assist with the installation of custom outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, pergolas, patio covers, stone features, grills, and other outdoor living products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation and assembly of outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, pergolas, patio structures, grills, and custom outdoor living products.
• Perform general construction and installation duties at residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools drills, saws, grinders, impact drivers, and measuring equipment.
• Assist with framing, mounting, fastening, cutting, leveling, and securing materials during installations.
• Read and follow work orders, installation instructions, blueprints, layouts, and measurements.
• Measure and cut materials accurately for installation projects.
• Climb and work safely on ladders up to 32 feet.
• Load and transport tools and installation materials to and from job sites.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Work closely with installers and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new installation techniques and skills.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, installation, carpentry, remodeling, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with measurements and materials.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 32 feet and work safely at heights.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong attendance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience with framing, masonry, carpentry, pavers, outdoor construction, or fireplace installation is a plus.
• Desire to grow into a Lead Installer role is highly encouraged.
