Swiss Lathe Programmer
Pay: $28–$35/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Swiss Lathe Programmer to join a precision manufacturing team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a highly skilled CNC professional who enjoys hands-on programming, problem-solving, and supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using engineering prints and 3D part models

• Optimize cycle times while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency

• Convert and adapt existing programs across multiple machine platforms

• Improve program organization and file management systems

• Research, select, and source tooling to maximize efficiency and performance

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to operators

• Perform machine setups and first-piece inspections as needed

• Serve as a backup operator to support production demands

• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance

• Assist with tooling evaluation, inventory management, and standardization efforts

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Swiss lathe programming experience required (10+ years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming

• Experience with CAM software, preferably Autodesk Fusion 360

• Hands-on experience with Swiss-style lathes, preferably Citizen machines

• Additional experience with Miyano, Star, Ganesh, Yama Seiki, or Mori Seiki machines is a plus

• Experience machining a variety of materials

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting daily shop operations
