Express Employment is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Tapping Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team in Peru, Illinois. This position is responsible for operating grinding and tapping equipment, inspecting parts for quality, and ensuring production standards are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate tapping and grinding machinery according to production specifications
Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
Use hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
Assist with setup and changeovers when required
Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
Machine Operating
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
