General Labor Construction Worker

We are seeking hardworking and dependable General Labor Construction Workers to assist with residential construction projects in the Olathe, KS area. This is a hands-on position working on homes and supporting construction crews with a variety of tasks on active job sites.

Location: Olathe, KS
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Conditions: Residential Construction / Outdoor Work Environment
Travel: Local travel to job sites may be required
Telecommute: No
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:

The General Labor Construction Worker will assist construction crews with residential building and job site support tasks. This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with residential construction and remodeling projects
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials
  • Perform general cleanup and job site maintenance
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely
  • Assist skilled trades workers as needed
  • Help with demolition, framing, material prep, and general labor tasks
  • Follow all job site safety procedures and directions from supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
