We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality production processes across diverse projects including ductwork, structural components, and custom fabrications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
  • Conduct rigging and mechanical setups for welding operations
  • Use calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assist with machining tasks as needed for component preparation
  • Perform quality checks on welded parts to meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly, fabrication, and installation projects including ductwork and structural components
  • Operate forklifts or cranes as required for material handling

Requirements

  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within manufacturing or construction environments
  • Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and other fabrication machinery
  • Knowledge of rigging, crane operation, machining, and assembly techniques is a plus
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
  • Experience with ductwork or structural steel fabrication is desirable
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment including forklifts and cranes
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
