General Office Duties
? Answer phone calls and respond to emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
? Maintain and organize office files, both physical and digital, ensuring accessibility and compliance with recordkeeping
standards.
? Process incoming and outgoing mail, including distribution to satellite offices.
Data Entry and Record Management
Enter data accurately into election management systems.
Verify data entries for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with relevant staff.
Voter Services Support
? Process voter registration applications and vote-by-mail requests and updates, ensuring compliance with election
laws.
? Assist voters with inquiries about registration status, polling locations, and other election-related information.
? Prepare and distribute voter ID cards and confirmation notices as required.
? Daily processing of incoming mail
Public Interaction
? Provide front-line customer service to voters, candidates, and other stakeholders visiting the office.
? Answer questions and assist with forms, applications, and general information about voting and elections.
Staff Support
? Assist other staff members with clerical tasks, as needed, to meet office deadlines or priorities.
? Participate in daily team meetings to align on goals and updates.
? Provide backup support for other clerks or administrative roles during peak periods.
Continuous Improvement
? Identify inefficiencies in daily workflows and suggest improvements to supervisors.
? Stay informed about updates to election laws and office policies to ensure accurate support and service delivery.
? Participate in ongoing training and maintain state required certifications.
Requirements:
High School Degree
Registered Voter
Reliable Transportation
Must pass background check
Must be able to lift or carry 25lbs
